About The Position

DirectHire 2 nd Shift Quality Technician Direct opportunity Rate: Open Hours: 3:30pm-12am Mason, OH Responsibilities: - Analyze and interpret op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications. - Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. - Maintain, test, and replenish dipping solutions. - Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine. - Prep parts using specialized material. - Inspect parts using ultraviolet light. - Load and unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools. - Report proper labor hours in the ERP system. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. - Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment. - Effective communication and people skills to maintain a working relationship with Quality and Engineering. - Dependability, integrity, cooperation and taking the initiative for responsibilities and challenges are critical. - Good and reliable attendance and a collaborative mindset are necessary.
