Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings or other documentation regarding quality and customer specifications.
  • Ability to interpret and translate documentation.
  • Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing orders, general instructions, work and safety rules and regulations.
  • Be familiar with AutoCAD/Illustrator and Gage Trak
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Minimum associates degree or work experience

Responsibilities

  • Keep the latest revision internal prints supplied to the production floor & electronically
  • Be familiar with AutoCAD/Illustrator and Gage Trak
  • Monthly verification of in-house measuring equipment- calipers, micrometers, scales, fixtures and densitometers
  • Calibration of measuring equipment: internal calibration and arrange shipment for off-site calibration. When needed, arrange for on-site calibration by external vendors
  • Update factory orders in SAP for enamel rotation, ECN, and process improvement
  • Provide input and technical assistance to personnel working on projects and during contract review
  • Aid the customer engineers as needed
  • Enter set-ups in Zontec data collection system
  • Arrange off-site procurement of films on parts not able to produce internally
  • Keep abreast of the latest technological changes
  • Able to calculate enamel weights for new products
  • Maintain all customer printing & revision levels.
  • Loading and preventative maintenance of Exile imager machine
  • Able to create films for new products and provide replacements for damaged films for production screening department
  • Update, create, and maintain revision for internal prints for hard copies and electronic version to production floor.
  • Assures compliance with all company policies & procedures including safety rules and regulations
  • Assures compliance with specified production methods, processes, procedures, and employee work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with all 5S activities/ requirements within their department.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain the latest revisions of internal prints.
  • Maintain calibration of in-house measuring equipment and gages.
  • This position has the authority and responsibility to stop any process that poses a risk to the safety and health of personnel, causes significant impacts to the environment, or affects product quality with an impact on customers.
  • They must ensure that established procedures within the Integrated Management System are followed before resuming operations.
  • They have the authority to stop processes if they detect fluid spills or abnormal emissions that may cause negative environmental impacts.
  • They must immediately notify the relevant department for correction and follow-up.
  • They are responsible for the proper disposal of various types of waste generated in their work area, in accordance with established environmental procedures.
  • Within their area of responsibility, they must ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding Quality, Safety, and Environment.
  • They contribute to the management and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System by participating in audits, reporting deviations, and proposing improvements.
  • As a manager, they ensure that their team is informed and trained on the requirements for Quality, Safety, and Environment, and that they adhere to the corresponding standards. They are responsible for managing the Integrated Management System process within their area of responsibility.
