About The Position

Assist/support quality initiatives by ensuring the product meets customer's requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, conducting relevant inspections; and where necessary, communicate and take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues. Report quality issues data within the Integrated Management System.

Requirements

  • High School/GED required
  • 1-2 Years of related manufacturing experience and the ability to perform the essential functions.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions offered in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MiTek assembly inspections with I-Auditor or other formats, and thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, formally reporting, and communicating all defects.
  • Responsible for checking, progressing, and filing correct inspection records.
  • Supply technical support in the areas of machine work operation sub-inspection, and production line Quality support activities.
  • Inspect and auditing of all components and all stages of the manufacturing processes.
  • Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise proper corrective action paperwork, to ensure issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Ensure compliance and aid with adherence to the development of an Integrated Management System (IMS).
