Offers recommendations as required. · Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and quality issues. Works with Operations and Quality personnel to investigate, collect and analyze data to resolve and implement corrective action, where applicable. · Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements. · Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices. · Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated. · Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds. · Verifies specified dimensions of product or material. · Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform applicable test requirements using the following equipment: micrometer, dial indicator, calipers, and OD tapes.
  • Must be able to lift product, materials, and equipment as necessary to perform the job.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read and write the English language.
  • High School diploma/GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Some manufacturing experience preferred.
