About The Position

Support manufacturing operations through timely review of production batch records and receiving documentation. Support quality-critical manufacturing processes such as label generation for medical devices and environmental monitoring. Perform internal process audits in a critical manufacturing environment. Perform incoming inspection and generate records for received material. Perform physical inspection of electromechanical assemblies through use of visual aids and measurement equipment. Perform visual inspection and physical measurement of injection molded, sheet metal, and packaging components for conformity to specifications. Assist Quality Engineers and manufacturing personnel in the execution of calibration activities, including review and retrieval of calibrated equipment for processing. Documentation of product quality through paper and electronic systems, including Word, Excel, and web-based PLM systems.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality inspection manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, prints & schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail when performing inspections and documenting results.
  • Must be able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities is necessary.
  • Ability to cooperate as part of the quality team to meet department goals.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a small-batch, high-mix manufacturing environment is desired.
  • An associate degree in mathematics, science or Engineering is preferred
