About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for a Quality Technician in Greer, SC. Pay rate is $24.00/hr Overall Purpose Helps ensure that automotive parts and products meet customer requirements by performing hands-on inspections during production. Uses standard measuring tools, records results, and works closely with operators and supervisors to keep quality on track. Supports and contributes to company Quality Policies and QMS. Reports to Site Manager / Regional Manager

Requirements

  • Proficiency in local language; English a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to read and understand drawings and instructions.
  • Comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs.
  • 1–3 years of quality or inspection experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred).
  • Visual inspection experience required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Technical training a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer quality requirements by following inspection and reporting standards.
  • Communicate issues or defects to supervisors and quality team.
  • Maintain professionalism on the shop floor.
  • Follow directions and comply with site safety rules and company policies.
  • Demonstrate commitment to reducing workplace accidents.
  • Assist in meeting department quality goals.
  • Promote workplace improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Inspect parts at various stages of production to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Use standard measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check dimensions.
  • Record results accurately and enter information into computer systems.
  • Report and contain non-conforming materials.
  • Support in-process audits and perform basic part layout checks.
  • Assist operators with print interpretation and gauge usage.
  • Help train operators on inspection steps when required.
  • Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned.
  • Stand for long periods of time; work may involve bending, twisting, squatting, or crawling.
  • Must be available to work scheduled hours, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
