About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Technician to support product quality review and manufacturing processes in Asheville, NC on 2nd shift. This role involves root cause corrective action, quality documentation, and MRB workload management. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing or shop floor experience and a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Support quality assurance and quality control of manufactured components.
  • Assist with technical problem resolution, working alongside Quality and Process Engineers.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to support inspections and process evaluations.
  • Train production teams on proper Non-Conforming (NC) documentation procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with hourly employees, quality/process engineers, and supervisors.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve manufacturing process issues.
  • Help drive business results on the shop floor, promoting a team-oriented environment.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by fostering strong relationships with design engineering teams.
  • Support change management initiatives to achieve operational excellence and best practices.
  • Continuously implement and improve 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles in assigned areas.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across production and quality teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MRB processes or similar first article inspection and verification.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Computer savvy with ability to learn new software's and systems.
