About The Position
The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. This role involves ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. The technician will apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods, complete laboratory testing, and collect samples at established intervals. Continually seeking process improvements and making recommendations to management is also a key responsibility. The technician will perform process inspections during molding, packaging, and loading, audit for compliance to control plan requirements, and perform incoming inspections of raw materials. Additionally, the technician will complete dimensional checks, perform in-process inspections, conduct cycle counts of finished goods, and communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel.
