About The Position

As a Quality Technician Specialist II, you'll calibrate electronic test measuring and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards, as well as test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. You'll be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, calibration and reporting of precision measuring equipment and ground support equipment. You'll maintain calibration and recall schedules that accommodate availability of assets for continued Program support, as well as assist pre-operational and periodic maintenance requirements and checklists. You'll work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field of study and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Must have testing and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have ability to work with standard test equipment, including Calibration and Tool Control
  • Knowledge with ISO Policy and Procedure, and The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Manufactures Specifications
  • Ability to Obtain/Maintain Secret U.S. Security Clearance may be required
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS 9100 standards and compliance to QMS
  • IPC 610, 620, J-STD-01 Certifications, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
