Sizemore, Inc. is looking for a 2nd Shift Quality Technician & Quality Auditor in Edgefield, SC! True temp-to-perm opportunity at 90 days! Starting Pay Rate: $17-$17.50 per hour Schedule: 2nd shift (3p-1a) shift will likely train on 1st shift (5a-3p) before moving to 2nd shift (3p-1a) Sizemore is hiring for two essential roles on 2nd Shift within our client's Quality Department: QA Technician (Heavy Role) Quality Auditor Both positions are critical to maintaining product quality, environmental compliance, and safety throughout the facility. We are looking for reliable individuals who are comfortable working in a production environment and willing to support continuous improvement efforts. 1. QA Technician – 2nd Shift (“Heavy”) This role is ideal for someone who isn’t afraid of hands-on, physically demanding work. The QA Technician supports quality checks, documentation, and heavy cleaning of the Powder Coat Booth Area and Tanks. This position requires someone who is responsible, dependable, and able to handle dirty, labor-intensive tasks. 2. Quality Auditor – 2nd Shift The Quality Auditor role is a more technical quality position ideal for someone with inspection or QA experience. This role blends production‑floor presence with lab‑based evaluation and measurement.

Requirements

  • Not afraid of physical, dirty work
  • Comfortable bending, lifting, standing for long periods
  • Prior experience in hands-on labor roles (farm experience a plus)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Experience with quality inspection or auditing
  • Ability to use calipers, gauges, and dimensional measurement tools
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Comfortable on the production floor and in lab environments
  • Strong analytical, math, and reasoning skills
  • High attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy cleaning of the Powder Coat Booth, Tanks, and related equipment
  • Assist with quality inspections and documentation
  • Use PPE and follow all safety procedures
  • Support environmental compliance and material handling
  • Work closely with production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Quality or Production leadership
  • Perform product and process audits
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and roving audits
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and quality procedures
  • Utilize calipers, gauges, measurement tools, and perform calibrations
  • Use Excel for tracking, formulas, reporting, and documentation
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain quality records and documentation
  • Support environmental and safety compliance
