Quality Technician Interns work within a wider team of professionals with the overall aim of making sure that our supply chain produces components and products that are safe, reliable, and meet customer expectations. Quality Technician Interns work together with various stakeholders, at every part of the design, procurement, and manufacturing process such as; Design teams – assisting in first article, FMEA, PFMEA, and out of box audits to ensure product meets design specifications and identify areas of weakness. Supplier teams – assisting in qualifying raw materials and component parts, ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards via PPAP and on-going quality monitoring. Manufacturing teams – assisting with in-process controls and component issue resolution. Customer teams – analyzing issues reported via customer feedback, and assisting in communicating changes to suppliers, inspection, or manufacturing as necessary. As a Quality Technician Intern, you will assist in the creation of quality processes and documentation to ensure products and processes from suppliers meet technical standards. They execute quality objectives to support customers, industry, and corporate requirements. Quality Technician Interns continuously improve the organization’s quality system and promote improvements in quality principles and practices across a fast paced, rapidly changing supply chain environment.
