About The Position

You will perform inspections, as well as in-process and final inspection of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable engineering standards In this role you will inspect parts using precision measurement equipment/devices You will assist engineering and operations in the investigation of non-conformities In this role you will also play a part in contract review of customer orders ensuring adherence to all applicable specifications You are responsible for ensuring proper documentation including fine print details on all product certifications

Requirements

  • High Diploma or GED is required for this role
  • The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of aviation experience and 2 years of inspection experience applying GD&T Principles and practices
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality Management systems; working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements per AS9102
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment is also a plus
