About The Position

The Quality Technician I is a key member of the quality assurance team and plays a vital role in ensuring our packaging products meet or exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests, recording data, identifying defects, and communicating with production teams to correct issues. A strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a detail-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts and mandatory overtime

  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Prior experience in quality assurance or manufacturing is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Perform off-line testing to verify that products meet all customer specifications
  • Accurately enter and analyze quality data using customized data sheets
  • Identify defects, communicate findings to machine operators, and document corrective actions
  • Maintain physical and digital records of lab data and test results
  • Support analysis of quality metrics, customer feedback, and internal process performance
  • Ensure timely and accurate check-in of customer returns
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure product quality and compliance
