About The Position

With general supervision, monitors product quality, providing feedback and recording results. Quarantines suspect or defective product.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, push, pull, and walk throughout the day.
• Good vision
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good manual dexterity and agility
• Strong math skills, including statistical knowledge
• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 1-year previous production line experience preferred
• Understands and ensures Minimum Workmanship Requirements.
• Understands and uses TEQ terminology.
• Understands and searches for product visually defects
• Understands and ensures proper packing standards.
• Understands and ensures proper inspection standards.
• Performs In-Process inspections per each control plan.
• Properly uses scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and magna mikes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the production process and collects dimensional data.
• Reviews, understands, and follows the control plan. Trains Packer /Inspectors the specific requirements of each job.
• Visually inspects samples from each job. Quarantines all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan.
• Visually inspects and reviews statistical data obtained on all raw materials.
• Provides statistical data as requested.
• Prepares labels and Certification of Compliance as requested.
• Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
