Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with other inspection tools and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proficiency in using CMM software, preferably Zeiss CALYPSO or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Keyence machines
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, materials, and assemblies
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications to approve or reject units
  • Maintain documentation and perform sampling and testing of components and raw materials
  • Review and report performance data to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Determine inspection methods and procedures
  • Interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers
  • Conduct receiving inspection transactions in RIDs, reviewing material certs, and completing inspection reports
  • Analyze measurement results and provide comprehensive reports to engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Work closely with the program team to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications to determine inspection requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve quality processes and standards
