About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. This individual will support multiple production programs on 2nd shift and will be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet established standards of quality and compliance. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to accomplish tasks. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with good communication skills and able to make sound judgements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior quality experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 2 years of prior quality experience.

Responsibilities

Support material review process, including review and dispositions of non-conforming material.
Assist in conformance inspection testing and related quality assurance activities.
Communicate with contacts within and outside of department to interpret and explain operational processes, practices, and procedures
Function independently with limited supervision and escalate needs to leadership as needed.
Assist with failure analysis and corrective action efforts using complex problem-solving methods to drive the development of technical solutions.
Support thorough use of data analytics, the verifying and validating of processes, methods and associated equipment capability.
As required, support the training, mentoring and coaching of lab and inspection personnel in the technical requirements of product
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Quality Technician role.
