About The Position

As a Quality Inspector at Stryker Corporation, you will provide customer service support to internal customers including Quality, Operations, Materials, Engineering, or Divisional teams. Your role will involve interacting with internal customers, suppliers, and other external customers to resolve quality control issues. You will assist on projects, quality investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, and provide inspection technique, process, or procedure training to others. You may work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests, calibrate gauges, tools, and equipment to perform quality inspection and investigation activities, and conduct internal product sorts. You will be required to comply with documentation and regulatory procedures and policies, gather data regarding non-conformances, and notify key stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide non-conforming product escalation support, including investigation and documentation of non-conformances, and support Division and functional area audit readiness for Internal/External audits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, automotive, aerospace or electronics
  • Blueprint/Engineering schematic reading and interpretation skills
  • Basic inspection techniques
  • Working knowledge of common hand gages (calipers, micrometers, pin gage, etc.) and measurement systems
  • Working knowledge of quality system regulations
