About The Position

The position involves performing routine dimensional inspection on component parts and reviewing lab test data along with applicable specifications related to raw materials and chemicals. The individual will initiate inspection and discrepancy reports and is responsible for auditing and inspecting completed vessel assemblies to ensure compliance with all quality standards related to packaging, integrity, and lot traceability of assemblies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of related quality or inspection experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with standard measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Solid understanding of basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspection criteria and methods for weld evaluations are properly followed.
• Perform destructive and non-destructive testing in accordance with requirements.
• Conduct daily process verifications and dock audits, including random sampling of finished materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and submit accurate, timely reports in line with company procedures and ISO/TS 16949 standards.
• Identify and report anomalies during audits; follow procedures for containment, isolation, sorting, and corrective action.
• Perform Level 1 maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain compliance with 5S/6S standards to ensure a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
