We are seeking a Quality Tech to join our day shift team at our DuBois, PA facility. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that quality standards and initiatives are consistently achieved within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The day shift schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotation, with hours from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Initial training will be conducted on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions
  • Works well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to lift safely up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to use lift support devices
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
  • Regularly required to listen, talk to, and see employees on a daily basis.

  • Quality ASQ certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain inspection reports
  • Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data
  • Perform product audits
  • Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns
  • Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives
  • Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.
