About The Position

To define job responsibilities Job Description: Responsibilities Processing of samples for dimensional and/or metallurgical testing as follows: Forging metallurgical inspection Forging dimensional inspection Machining dimensional inspection Final Audit Inspection (Forging and Machining) Data entry (Final Audit, etc.) Ensure accurate documentation completion as required Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Effectively communicates with Manufacturing and other departments as required regarding inspection results Effectively communicates within the QA department Assists with G.R&R studies and density maps Provides support to Manufacturing, and other departments as requested. As directed by the Quality Group Leader or Quality Manager

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Basic GD&T knowledge
  • Measuring devices (CMM, optical comparator, other handheld measuring devices)
  • Basic metallurgy
