Requirements

  • Requires minimum two years experience in a manufacturing, weld fabrication, machining and/or inspection environment.
  • Candidate must be well organized, accurate and attentive to detail and have ability to assist and support others.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with associates.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and provide accurate interpretation for Engineering Drawings
  • Strong interpersonal skills - active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills.
  • High moral and ethical standards; integrity is continuously apparent.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a quality and manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Two-year technical degree is a plus.
  • CMM training or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs part inspections to determine acceptability of components and/or operations, documents inspections, generates reports, and maintains records of inspections.
  • Generates/organizes final Quality documentation for Customer submittal.
  • Performs receiving inspections, First Article inspections, in-process inspections, and customer inspections, as needed.
  • Maintains Quality documents in appropriate file systems.
  • Maintains gauge calibration program.
  • Interfaces with Customers, Auditors, and Inspectors concerning quality activities.
  • Generates Quality Bulletins and Requests for Deviation when necessary.
  • Initiates Non-Conforming Material Requests and performs liaison with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and/or Project Management as needed.
  • Processes Non-Conformances, Discrepant Materials, & Returned Materials (Warranty), following disposition.
  • Participates in Studies and Problem-Solving activities as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
