Requirements

Requires minimum two years experience in a manufacturing, weld fabrication, machining and/or inspection environment.
Candidate must be well organized, accurate and attentive to detail and have ability to assist and support others.
Ability to create and maintain relationships with associates.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and provide accurate interpretation for Engineering Drawings
Strong interpersonal skills - active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills.
High moral and ethical standards; integrity is continuously apparent.
High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a quality and manufacturing environment is desired.
Two-year technical degree is a plus.
CMM training or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs part inspections to determine acceptability of components and/or operations, documents inspections, generates reports, and maintains records of inspections.
Generates/organizes final Quality documentation for Customer submittal.
Performs receiving inspections, First Article inspections, in-process inspections, and customer inspections, as needed.
Maintains Quality documents in appropriate file systems.
Maintains gauge calibration program.
Interfaces with Customers, Auditors, and Inspectors concerning quality activities.
Generates Quality Bulletins and Requests for Deviation when necessary.
Initiates Non-Conforming Material Requests and performs liaison with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and/or Project Management as needed.
Processes Non-Conformances, Discrepant Materials, & Returned Materials (Warranty), following disposition.
Participates in Studies and Problem-Solving activities as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
