The Quality Technician at Tri-Seal Opco LLC plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations through the inspection and assessment of product quality. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the Bonder/Wax application process and involves leading the testing and appraisal rollout for the Tri-Seal W-S Quality Assurance Team. The technician must also be knowledgeable about various manufacturing technologies currently in use, including extrusion lamination, adhesive lamination, and gravure coating and printing. In this role, the Quality Technician will follow standard methods and techniques to inspect and test products, ensuring they meet customer and product specifications. They will monitor product tracking methods, maintain customer samples, and manage any questionable products by organizing re-work and inspecting returned items. The technician will prepare routine reports by gathering and summarizing data, test and verify raw materials as needed, and assist in training both quality and production employees in quality assurance procedures and standards. Additionally, the Quality Technician will adhere to plant safety and housekeeping guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. They will participate in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and conduct Capability and Gage R&R studies to monitor process improvement efforts. The technician will also advise production personnel of quality issues and collaborate with supervision to develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
