About The Position

The position involves various duties related to quality assurance and operations within a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding part drawings, utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures, and learning to use other calibrated tools as required in different departments. The role includes assisting with the calibration of measuring devices and maintaining documentation for the location. Additionally, the candidate will enter MDR information into the MDR access database and JDE, facilitate the Materials Review Board (MRB) process, and may assist in the Receiving Department with related tasks. Conducting quality audits in production departments for the QA department and addressing questionable quality issues as they arise are also key responsibilities. The candidate may be required to help sort pallets of material when necessary.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in an operations/manufacturing (or similar) environment required.
• Self-starter with knowledge of JD Edwards system.
• Basic knowledge of how to use Office products.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with multifunctional teams and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of project management, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
