About The Position

The Quality Team Leader at CEVA Logistics is responsible for supporting continuous improvement through non-conformance analysis, reporting, and corrective action. This role involves developing and maintaining a corporate quality management system, ensuring compliance with quality policies, and leading internal audits to uphold ISO standards. The position emphasizes collaboration, effective communication, and the implementation of quality initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a distribution or sequencing production facility.
  • Minimum 2 years of knowledge of audit control processes and procedures.
  • Background in quality program development and focus on quality assurance.
  • Ability to allocate work assignments to internal auditors and monitor their performance.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds and ability to present information clearly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
  • High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure and handle stress appropriately.
  • Ability to support team members and promote team interests over self-interest.
  • Ability to use independent judgment in decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a corporate quality management system for the contract site.
  • Maintain training records and documentation associated with the quality system.
  • Provide direction to management and floor employees to ensure adherence to quality systems.
  • Conduct internal audits to ISO requirements and maintain the quality management system.
  • Distribute work assignments to hourly staff related to quality responsibilities.
  • Supply information for customer inquiries and non-conformance issues within the Quality Program.
  • Monitor the internal auditing program and delegate work to internal auditors.
  • Use continuous improvement tools to address non-conformance with customers.
  • Assist during external audits and conduct pre-audits to identify inefficiencies.
  • Maintain and update quality system documentation, including quality and procedure manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies and escalate non-compliance issues to management.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Create cost savings through LEAN initiatives and participate in special projects.
  • Highlight areas of non-conformity and implement corrective actions.
