About The Position

Sea Breeze is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Quality Team Associate to join our Quality Assurance department. This position plays a key role in ensuring product safety, consistency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working both in a laboratory setting and on the production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field preferred but not required
• Previous laboratory, food manufacturing, or quality assurance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analyses including refractometer Brix testing, pH analysis, and titration (training provided if needed).
• Conduct sensory evaluations to ensure flavor, appearance, and overall product quality meet company standards.
• Assist with basic microbiological plating and environmental monitoring procedures.
• Prepare samples for testing and maintain proper documentation of results.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
• Manage and maintain quality-related data within the company ERP system, including creation and review of quality records.
• Develop, review, and maintain quality control specifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with production to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Assist with ingredient and finished product documentation, certifications, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance quality processes.
