About The Position

The primary role of the Quality Systems Manager is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines, internal quality, food safety standards and policies.

Requirements

  • BS in Food Science or equivalent
  • 5 - 7 years of industry experience with a minimum 3 years supervisory experience
  • SQF Certified
  • Must demonstrate proficient PC skills, strong verbal and written communication skills throughout all levels of the organization
  • Ability to follow company guidelines and work with peers to achieve the overall goals of the company

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and monitor quality assurance programs and procedures to assure conformance of incoming ingredients, materials and finished products to established specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor all GMP and food safety programs
  • Conduct HACCP and GMP training
  • Interact with FDA and third party auditors
  • Oversee Sanitation and SOP’s
  • Develop raw material and finished product specifications
  • Supervise pest management program
  • Manage environmental monitoring program
  • SQF Practitioner
  • LACF Coordinator
  • HACCP Coordinator
