About The Position

The primary role of the Quality Systems Manager is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines, internal quality, food safety standards and policies.

Requirements

BS in Food Science or equivalent
5 - 7 years of industry experience with a minimum 3 years supervisory experience
SQF Certified
Must demonstrate proficient PC skills, strong verbal and written communication skills throughout all levels of the organization
Ability to follow company guidelines and work with peers to achieve the overall goals of the company

Responsibilities

Create, implement and monitor quality assurance programs and procedures to assure conformance of incoming ingredients, materials and finished products to established specifications and quality standards.
Monitor all GMP and food safety programs
Conduct HACCP and GMP training
Interact with FDA and third party auditors
Oversee Sanitation and SOP’s
Develop raw material and finished product specifications
Supervise pest management program
Manage environmental monitoring program
SQF Practitioner
LACF Coordinator
HACCP Coordinator
