Requirements

Thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015, with demonstrated history of audit success
Familiarity with military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD, AS9100, or similar) and customer-specific requirements
Strong organizational, documentation, and technology skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Experience with auditing (internal and external) and regulatory compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys)
Experience as a quality manager in a manufacturing / industrial setting, with a minimum of 5 years leading a team
Experience in quality excellence, ISO Audit & certification, and MIL-I-45208 knowledge.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the alignment, integration, and standardization of quality processes across two business units to ensure consistency and efficiency
Ensure quality systems are aligned with ISO standards, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate will all business functions to develop and define processes across the organization
Identify deviations from quality standards (ISO, MilSpec, customer) and implement corrective actions.
Lead initiatives to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance QMS effectiveness
Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive process harmonization and best practice sharing
Oversee internal audit programs, ensuring audit readiness and compliance across both business units
Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, including customer and regulatory/military audits
Monitor quality system performance using data and metrics; identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Provide training and guidance to employees on QMS requirements, procedures, and quality standards
Support risk management activities, including process risk assessments and mitigation planning
