Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Systems Manager based in Buffalo New York.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience required in Quality Systems Management.
  • HACCP certified; internal auditor certified preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required, concentration in Dairy or Food Science.
  • Computer software experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
  • HACCP and Internal Auditor certification preferred.
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Standard training and lead internal auditor training for both.

Responsibilities

  • Document creation, modification, review, and auditing for timeliness.
  • Perform internal audits for both systems (ISO 22000 and ISO 9001).
  • Maintain Organic, Gluten Free and Kosher Certifications.
  • Lead and perform Mock recalls, report findings.
  • Perform external audits of external providers.
  • Perform Management reviews twice a year for both standards and according to standard requirements.
  • Maintain the internal audit corrective action log.
  • Follow up on corrective actions for internal audits.
  • Give food safety and quality training through Alchemy.
  • Be a Participating member of the Food safety and food quality team.
  • Maintain all HACCP documentation and requirements for the HACCP Procedures.
  • Prepare for outside audits and lead the audits.
  • Prepare and distribute the Food Safety objectives.
  • Train internal auditors for both standards.
