In this exciting role as a Quality System Manager - Training, you will have responsibility for leading the training program and strategy for the Medtronic Diabetes business. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. This position is expected to be onsite, with the possibility to be at a hybrid capacity position which requires 3 days in the office and 2 days working in a remote capacity. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization and enhance our impact on patient care. Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations. Develops strategy and leads governance for training systems and processes. Prepares reports and/or necessary documentation and provides to applicable stakeholders, both internal and external. Provide direction for how laws, regulations, and standards influence training content Define training standards to meet the needs of new and changing regulations Serves as training process owner and as subject matter expert for internal and external audits Manage internal team responsibilities as assigned Maintains current knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry guidance that impact the company's compliance program. Leads process improvement initiatives Facilitates uniform training standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly
