Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. This position is a duration-based role of 24 months. An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered. The Quality Systems Deployment Lead supports the MedTech Surgery deployment of the SAP ERP Management System (Project Transcend 2.0) as a subject matter expert, track and report action plan status/ completion as relates to the overall project deliverables for deployment of the Quality workstream. The Deployment Lead must also collaborate across the Ethicon Franchise to support the harmonization and integration of optimized Ethicon Quality processes. You will be responsible for:

  • As a Quality Systems subject matter expert, track and report action plan status/ completion as relates to the overall project deliverables for deployment of the Quality workstream.
  • Responsible for (including but not limited to) developing training content, developing user requirements, performing user acceptance testing, conducting train the trainer sessions, writing business processes to match technical requirements and Facilitates or supports cross-functional meetings with all Transcend workstreams (including, but not limited to Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Master Data Management)
  • Identifies opportunities to continuously improve quality systems and processes in alignment with overall quality and business objectives.
  • Identifies and escalates potential gaps in requirements, communicates business impact and risk.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related is required
  • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment is required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an Operations, Manufacturing, Quality and/or Engineering role is required
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills are all required
  • Demonstrated skills in root cause analysis and failure investigation are required
  • Experience in dealing with audits/ inspections with the FDA, other notified bodies or any other Health Authority
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills with a strong results orientation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and functions is required
  • Strong in ability to build collaboration, partnership and teamwork across local and global organizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving skill sets and good analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills without direct authority responsibility
  • Demonstrated effectiveness as a team member and a team leader
  • This position may require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel.
