Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.      POSITION SUMMARY:   Support the Business Management System through establishing processes and tools for the ongoing compliance with applicable requirements and for application of quality standards. Provide support to internal functions in the application, maintenance and improvement of quality systems and department specific processes.

Requirements

  • Certified as an Internal Auditor for AS9100 is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) with specific capabilities in forms development and document formatting.
  • Strong background/experience in aerospace and/or college degree in Business Management, Engineering, Technical Writing or related field.
  • Experience in process mapping, flowcharting and analysis.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organization skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background/experience in aerospace and/or college degree in Business Management, Engineering, Technical Writing or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support all organizational functions with the development, implementation, and improvement of controlled documented information in response to helpdesk requests for BMS controlled documents process updates, including updates to metrics, risks and improvements
  • Assist in cross-functional document reviews to ensure alignment throughout quality system activities.
  • Support the quality organization by collecting metrics data for business processes, as well as sending out communications and reminders related to the use of performance data.
  • Verify implementation and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Supports the integration of the quality system requirements, and process requirements, into business process activities.
  • Create and maintain AS9100 training material and assist to facilitate training as requested.
