About The Position

As a result of some planned internal growth and transition, we are looking for a Quality System Manager to add to our Pivot Point team. We are a small, innovative company of 55-65 employees, looking for someone to manage the Quality System itself, no direct reports. We are already ISO certified/compliant, and have a system in place. The Quality Manager is responsible for the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) as a whole. In addition, the Quality Manager is responsible for the Internal Audit Process, the Calibration Process, compliance documentation, and monitoring of all Corrective and Preventive Action. This Quality Manager position is Full Time, in person/office, 1st shift Monday-Friday. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two-year Associate's Degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience related to the Quality position. Previous Quality Engineers might have the ideal background and experience for this role. NO 3rd Party Recruiters Please. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Requirements

  • ISO 9001 experience. 2+ years required. 5+ years is ideal.
  • Experience in a manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience with Audits and Audit Process.
  • Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, comparator, etc.) with decimals +/- .002
  • Strong math, computer, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with metal forming background.
  • Prior experience working on customer quality complaints/resolutions is ideal.
  • Previous Quality Engineers might have the ideal background and experience for this role.
