About The Position

In this role you will Supervise Quality inspection responsibilities for auditor team to maintain product quality standards in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will act as a liaison with Production and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve Production process Quality as directed by Quality Manager.
YOUR ROLE:
Supervise an Auditor team, which includes managing time & attendance, developing skills and responsibilities, coaching, and other people management tasks
Enforce Quality requirements and standards for manufacturing products including inspection areas in Production
Develop and maintain standard work and schedules for Auditor team
Lead and participate in problem solving events responding to both non-conforming material and continuous improvement initiatives
Update work instructions, forms and other documents to maintain the Quality System
Maintain documentation, non-conforming material log, and issue tracking for activities including layered process audits, gemba walks and start-up or shut-down checklist reviews.
Support a 24/7 operation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-5 year’s supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• ISO/QS 9001 systems knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Engineering or Management Bachelor’s degree
• Prior Quality supervision experience
• Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor
