Quality Supervisor
About The Position
Position Reports to: Position reports to the Quality Manager and interfaces with Plant Management, Production, Shipping, Purchasing and Corporate R&D. Position Responsibilities: Supervises lab personnel and functions relating to the performance and execution of lab tests to produce reliable data ensuring products conform to known company and customer standards. Supervises the performance of various tests to produce reliable and precise data to support production requirements. Ensures that lab personnel perform routine tasks accurately and follow strict methodologies to carry out analyses. Confirms proper preparation of specimens and samples by lab personnel. Interprets results obtained by lab personnel and relays to Plant Management. Must be available for 24/7 plant support. Prepares weekly and or monthly summaries covering the quality system, test data and other information regarding product quality for Quality Manager, Plant Management, and other operations personnel. Performs other duties as required. Required Qualifications: Requires working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience using an enterprise-wide quality system. Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment required. Preferred Qualifications: AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred. B.S. in related field preferred. Work Environment: Must be able to work in a laboratory environment. Moderate dust, noise, hot and cold climates intermittently. Lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently. Visual Acuity (including color perception). Good Hearing.
Requirements
