QUALITY SUPERVISOR SELMA, AL As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with the represents the needs of the customer relative to product information, quality requirements (e. g. special characteristics, quality objectives and related training), inquires, corrective action requests and feedback, including complaints. The Quality Supervisor will transmit information to appropriate organizational functions (TS – 16949 sections 5.5.2.1 and 7.2.3), Ensure that product quality is attained through the fulfillment of customer requirements, and establish/maintain internal quality system documentation (FMEAs, control plans, work instructions, etc.) necessary to satisfy customer requirements. The Quality Supervisor will coordinate the timely investigation and closure of customers/supplier corrective and preventative action activities. They will generate the necessary data to identify and implement defect-reductions activities. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Positively enforce company policies, procedures, and work instructions Positively assist in the development/achievement of company and departmental goals and objectives APQP Activities assist in development FMEAs, control Plans, Quality Standards, Packaging Plans, and other documentation as identified and required. PPAP Activities Perform dimensional/ILD inspections per customer requirements. Perform gage R&R studies per customer requirements. Special Event (SER) Activities Perform dimensional/ILD inspection activities as requested. Engineering Changes Actively participate in the research/communication of engineering changes and requirement. Problem Solving/corrective & Preventative Action Activities Assist in the investigation of and closure of customer /supplier 8D’s as assigned. Inspection Activities Perform monthly & daily inspection (dimensional, core density, ILD) activities per control plans. Communicate inspection results to necessary individuals. Maintain part template storage system to ensure templates easily stored/obtained. Maintain test buck storage system to ensure bucks are easily stored/obtained. Maintain/Update inspection work instructions and data sheets. Perform assist in assigned internal audits as an auditor/auditee. Responsible for subordinate safety compliance and training, functions as role model relative to safety and environmental issues
