About The Position

Quality Supervisor: The Architect of Precision The Mission At Standard Iron, we don’t just meet standards; we set them. We are looking for a Quality Supervisor who views ISO 9001:2015 not as a binder on a shelf, but as the heartbeat of our operation. Your goal is to champion our core values—Commitment to People, Customers, and Action—by transforming complex requirements into seamless shop-floor reality. The Impact You’ll Make Guard the Standard: You are the primary advocate, ensuring that risk-based thinking is woven into every weld and assembly. Lead the Frontline: You’ll set the tempo, sharpen the technical skills, and foster a culture that promotes quality. Solve the Puzzle: When things go sideways, you lead the charge. Using 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis etc., you’ll dig past the symptoms to find the cure, turning nonconformances into fuel for continual improvement. Bridge the Gap: You are the translator between high-level compliance and daily production. You’ll partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure quality is "baked in" from the start. What You Bring to the Table The Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or the equivalent "school of hard knocks" experience) and 3–7 years in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment. The Leadership Pulse: 1–3 years of experience leading teams. You know how to hold the line on compliance while keeping production moving. The ISO Lens: You can talk shop about document control, internal audits, and management reviews in a way that actually makes sense to the team. Analytical Muscle: You’re comfortable with SPC and trend analysis. You see the story the data is telling and know how to act on it. Why You’ll Love It Here You aren’t just a cog in the machine; you are the one ensuring the machine runs perfectly. You’ll have the authority to challenge decisions that put compliance at risk and the support to implement system-level changes that leave a lasting mark.
