About The Position

Manufacturing Quality Control work includes: Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Testing random samples of finished goods. Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years related work experience required in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5-7 years of leadership and work experience is required.
• Candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of others, and mobilizing resources.
• Managing two or more direct reports.
• Monitoring and achieving operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
• Handling people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
• Managing subordinate management and/or experienced specialist employees who exercise significant latitude and independence.
• Allocating resources to align with business objectives and annual business plans.
• Solving complex problems leveraging resources within or outside the organization.
• Implementing strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Establishing operating policies and procedures that affect departments and subordinate sections and work units.
• Interpreting company-wide policies and procedures.
• Developing and assuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
• Interacting frequently with internal and external leadership and senior-level customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications.
• Leading briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
