The Quality Manager will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day production processes to ensure product quality compliance as measured by company, industry, and customer specifications. This role supports and improves the control material qualification process, working in conjunction with other departments to develop, qualify, and transfer the qualification process as applicable. The Quality Manager ensures the maintenance of QC equipment, including qualification, calibration, and maintenance. Additionally, the role involves leading and supporting formal quality initiatives such as SPC and Six Sigma, participating in investigations for failures during quality control testing, and performing troubleshooting, process development, and improvement activities. The Quality Manager will analyze complex information from a fact-based standpoint to develop strategies and plans consistent with the evidence collected. This position also requires coaching team members on leveraging individual differences and strengths to optimize decision-making and develop solutions. The Quality Manager will follow projects from conception to completion, ensuring a culture that prioritizes the safety and welfare of employees. Furthermore, the role involves leading operational excellence using CI principles, tools, methods, and techniques to achieve business goals, improve performance, and decrease costs, while ensuring all work activities comply with established safety and environmental standards. The Quality Manager will supervise production activities on the floor to ensure best-in-class quality results for all customers.
