About The Position

As a Quality Specialist, you will ensure our products consistently exceed established standards through proactive monitoring and rigorous onsite inspections. You will lead the identification of non-conformances, collaborating directly with Supplier Development and Build Quality teams to elevate our production landscape. In this role, you will architect the frameworks for managing Non-conformance reports (NCs), Material Review Boards (MRB), and CAPA activities, driving operational excellence to systematically eliminate recurring issues

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in metrology inspection or quality-focused manufacturing roles, operating within structured production environments
  • Hands-on experience working under AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or comparable Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Proficient with calibrated metrology equipment, including calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM, and related precision measurement tools
  • Strong technical interpretation skills, including GD&T (ASME Y14.5), engineering drawings, wire diagrams, work instructions, and CAD models
  • Experienced in investigative and validation activities, utilizing X-ray inspection, digital characterization tools, material certifications, and assembly-level testing to analyze and communicate inspection results
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized team contributor, capable of independent work, cross-functional collaboration, and eligible to access export-controlled data (U.S. Person status required)

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or Associate’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, with certifications such as ASQ CQE/CQIA and IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620
  • Experience inspecting electrical and electronic assemblies, including power supplies, PCBs, and wire harnesses within regulated manufacturing environments
  • Proficient with manufacturing and quality systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD) and knowledgeable in Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, TPS, and LRIP production environments
  • Experienced in auditing high-stakes manufacturing processes, operating as a detail-oriented self-starter who communicates effectively across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site MRB process, including inspection of non-conforming parts, root cause support, disposition execution, internal rework coordination, accurate data entry, and Vendor RMA management in partnership with Warehouse and Buyers
  • Execute and oversee First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, verifying incoming material and coordinating supplier-submitted FAI data for acceptance
  • Manage quality containment activities for non-conforming material, tooling, and inspection equipment to protect production capacity and minimize operational impact
  • Develop and implement inspection plans across incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages in alignment with Product Quality Engineering requirements
  • Drive quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives, including policy and procedure development, productivity enhancements, and quality performance improvements
  • Support quality infrastructure and compliance, including calibration management, internal audits, and deep analysis of traceability data to identify trends and mitigate quality risks
