Requirements

Prior experience in an industrial/manufacturing/machining environment preferred but not required.
Two-year College or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or 4 year college or university degree.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
Familiarity with reading and understanding mechanical drawings preferred
Will be required to use tools for part inspection.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Ability to learn ERP system, Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Access, Photo editor software, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system preferred but not required.
Experience using SAP preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting
Ensure corrective actions are properly generated and effectively closed.
Promotes a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement
Work collaboratively with Senior Quality Specialist to enhance and maintain quality system.
Resolving any additional issues as they arise with the appropriate SMS personnel.
Working with multiple departments to expedite a solution to the non-conforming part.
May also include speaking with Vendors to assist in technical resolution.
Will be required to use tools for part inspection.
