Requirements

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including college lab coursework.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment in a quality or related function required.
  • Comprehension of basic mathematical and science concepts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and the ability to effectively manage time.
  • Attention to detail skills to improve workplace productivity, efficiency, and performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tests on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, finished product, field samples, etc.
  • Determine adjustments to batches to bring them to specification.
  • Complete SAP data entry transactions.
  • Retest material for recertification.
  • SPC Chart creation and entry of chart data
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis
  • Create NCMRs for nonconforming material.
  • Ability to unblock inspected material.
  • Assist in problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
  • Must understand and follow all initiatives and processes for Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards as they pertain to job responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned (including support for other production operations).
  • Housekeeping (this includes 5S)
