Assist in creating test plans, identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining quality management systems. Performs product related testing, analysis and reporting activities. A primary interface with customer source inspectors and customer representatives.

  • Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure products and services meet internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to verify quality and adherence to standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and non-conformances, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, inspection records, and other quality documents, and produce statistical reports on quality metrics.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and collaborate with other departments to improve products, services, and production processes.
  • Work closely with development, manufacturing, and product teams to integrate quality practices and resolve quality issues.
  • Assist Quality Engineering with creation and updates to inspection plans.
  • Assist Quality Manager with Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Familiar with statistical methods/SPC.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, interpret trends, and identify root causes of quality issues.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions effectively.
  • Clear and concise communication is needed to document issues, provide feedback to teams, and create actionable reports for stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry software, testing tools, quality management systems (QMS), and potentially programming languages or development methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common quality goals.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Perform detail-oriented functions, identify defects and inconsistencies in paperwork.
  • Function independently as well as part of a team.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Two-year college degree (technical course work a plus) and/or ASQ Certification.
