YOUR TASKS Overseeing the development and implementation of standards, quality controls, and certification processes to enhance the effectiveness of the QPE systems. Delivering effective management of non-conformance and corrective actions to ensure products or services meet the established quality standards. Executing internal audits, inspections, and tests according to established quality procedures to evaluate the performance of the QPE systems. Providing input to project teams, highlighting the necessary requirements and developing strategies to achieve quality objectives. Maintaining a good working knowledge of industry trends, customer requirements, and ISO standards by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Creating, deploying, and managing comprehensive quality tracking systems to monitor all production procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement and initiating corrective actions. Collaborating with product development teams to review new products and ensure they meet organizational quality standards and customer expectations before they hit the market. Participanting in the design and development of quality training materials and conducting training sessions on quality control activities. Developing and implementing data collection systems that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality, using such data to generate reports for the management team. Engaging in supplier evaluation and qualification processes to ensure that all raw materials coming into the manufacturing plant meet the required quality standards. Performing other related duties as assigned or necessary to support QPE business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Specialist role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other relevant industry quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality procedures and relevant legal standards.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and platforms, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and deliver training sessions on quality concepts and tools.
  • Flexibility to perform under pressure and meet rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to frequently review and stay updated with relevant industry, technology, and regulatory developments.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from a recognized Quality organization such as ASQ (American Society for Quality) would be a significant advantage.
