YOUR TASKS Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures in alignment with company policies. Review the implementation and efficiency of the quality and inspection systems, making necessary improvements or changes. Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products for quality compliance. Perform regular audits on the company's quality control processes and document any identified issues. Manage corrective actions, ensuring issues are resolved timely and accurately. Collaborate with the operation team to establish procedures, standards and systems. Identify training needs and organize appropriate training interventions for the staff for skill enhancement. Assess customer requirements and ensure that these are met in the product quality. Maintain a keen understanding of quality trends, advancements and best practices. Prepare quality documentation and report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and data. Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance. Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products. Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement teams using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred; candidates with Green Belt certification or equivalent experience are also encouraged to apply. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control. Advanced knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices. Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma. Certification of quality control like ASQ or equivalent is a plus. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into comprehensible concepts. Ability to work independently or in a team environment, respecting and valuing the diversity of all team members. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Proficiency with data analysis and ability to use databases, spreadsheets and statistical quality control software. Working knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal regulations affecting quality control and assurance.
