Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one (1) year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for examining materials for quality and defects.
• Maintains records regarding production and quality metrics.
• Investigates defects and errors to identify root cause and escalates or implements applicable resolution personally or in partnership with appropriate production and management personnel.
• Ensure quality of manufactured goods.
• Inspect goods as they are finished.
• May examine materials from suppliers before sending them to production line.
• Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• Perform quick visual inspections.
• Test, measure, and analyze products.
• May order materials.
• Ensure company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
• Record pass/fail grade of products.
• May produce detailed reports.
