The Quality Specialist II supports all activities of the Quality Operations Department. These activities serve to meet regulatory requirements, national accreditation standards, facility licensing regulations, applicable laws, best practices, and quality and safety standards. The Quality Specialist II directly supports the Quality Department's activities including: HVA, FMEA, FSA, infection control risk analysis, emergency management drill events, annual reviews of related organizational plans and associated data. The Quality Specialist II manages data, prepares written reports for leadership, completes documentation related to projects, teams and committees. The Quality Specialist II monitors and follows up on reportable events, supports all quality and compliance-related trainings, and conducts documentation reviews to ensure standards and requirements are met. The Quality Specialist II also provides direct support to quality committees, CQI Teams and projects, including performing data management and analysis, project planning, documentation of activities, and use of standardized QI tools and process improvement methods. The Quality Specialist II supports the patient/client satisfaction survey process including assisting in the implementation of survey tools, and creation of reports and data analysis.
