About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) to join the Precision Engagement Systems group located in Saint Charles, MO. This position is seeking an energetic candidate to support our high-volume operations and quality hardware support activities, including non conformance, rework and reduction. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced, highly regulated Quality environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in Quality
  • 2+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar QMS standard
  • 2+ years of experience with documenting corrective actions and non-conformance

Nice To Haves

  • Level 3: 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • U.S. Security clearance
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality support to the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Production Line and Operations Team.
  • Review proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
  • Analyze process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
  • Participate with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
  • Conduct research, compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.
  • Conduct quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develop a coordinated response for management review and approval.
  • Conduct hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and report results to management.
  • Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.
