About The Position

The Quality Specialist role in the Plant Operations group focuses on the development, improvement, and streamlining of the quality management system for secure documents manufactured by CBN. This position ensures that products such as driver's licenses and identification cards meet the highest quality standards, maintaining their trustworthiness for governments and citizens.

Requirements

• University degree/college diploma in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer) OR a print related field.
• Knowledge, understanding and application of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge, understanding and application of continuous improvement processes and tools such as: Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, PDCA, etc.
• Proficiency in MS 365.
• Familiarity with statistical/business intelligence software.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent organization/time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans that ensure compliance to all specifications and standards.
• Audit process centers for conformance to product specifications.
• Employ statistical quality control (SQC) methodologies to monitor and maintain the quality of products and identify and analyze any quality problems.
• Track non-conformances, recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce/eliminate reoccurrences and monitor and analyze the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of quality control initiatives.
• Various other duties and responsibilities.
