Job Summary & Scope The Quality Software Engineer maintains and creates the testing framework for QA services and influences the development practices throughout the lifecycle. Supports singular features or applications. Demonstrates knowledge of solutions within assigned domain, product or serviced. Delivers and manages QE services.

Has 2+ years of test engineering or QA experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Has 2+ years of experience in in implementing test engineering principles
Practitioner of Agile and/or Lean practices

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Full SDLC and Agile development methodologies experience

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains intelligent test automation frameworks that certifies releases faster with increased test coverage
Identifies and builds the appropriate level of test cases to determine if product is ready for production
Participates in research to identify tools, automation frameworks and methodologies; drives quality measures to be implemented
Recommends changes in the development process to ensure quality is built into the product
Adopts fail fast methodology
Recommends solutions based on established best practices
Uses logic and analytical thinking to solves problems
Makes tactical decisions that are driven by the priorities of the project and that fall within defined procedures
Issues not defined by best practices are escalated to Manager
Nearly self-sufficient and capable of working with limited supervision
Communicates with Management on status issues and decisions
Facilitates discussions for the product with the product team
Provides support to less experienced team members
Creates and delivers presentations and communication to peers
