Summary: The Quality Manager provides operational leadership for daily clinical quality functions, ensuring regulatory readiness and consistent oversight of quality initiatives. This role manages coordinator performance, prioritization, and quality control while supporting compliance with key regulatory organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
  • Minimum 3-5 years in clinical quality, patient safety, or regulatory compliance roles.
  • Experience in managing teams and coaching staff.

  • CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent operational oversight of daily quality functions, including safety event reviews, core measure abstraction, sepsis bundle monitoring, and eCQM follow-up.
  • Deliver structured coaching and prioritization for Quality Coordinators to ensure accuracy, professional development, and balanced workloads.
  • Maintain regulatory readiness for CMS, DNV, and Leapfrog cycles through timely documentation, organized reporting, and proactive follow-up.
  • Support clinical committees such as Falls, Sepsis, Stroke, and SSEC by ensuring continuity in data preparation, follow-ups, and action tracking.
  • Enable sustainable workload distribution to allow the Director to focus on strategic initiatives, system alignment, harm-reduction priorities, and long-range improvement planning.
  • Strengthen quality infrastructure by reducing reliance on a single leadership layer for both high-level strategy and daily operational tasks.
